Wow, we hope you have the patience to listen to all of this episode because it's a long one. We covered the usual mass exodus of the French from Paris in August, shooting pigeons with marshmallows, and we also have our first podcast guests Chris and Diane from Prague (now Shanghai). And of course we have the usual expat stuff sprinkled throughout. The editing is not my finest as I had some learning to do with two mics but look beyond that and enjoy the content! Cheers!

This episode was a little longer since it took me a little while to put up but we do talk about one of our favorite places in Paris, Picard. We discuss the convenience of the Tabacs and what you can get there. We also talk about the Salon International de l'Agriculture where we saw our share of bulls' nuts and also where they also display food and wine from every region in France. We talk about a few other topics that may interest you. Enjoy!

It's 2010 so Olivia and I discuss what we learned in 2009 with living in Paris and Prague. We also discuss the difference between Calvin and Hobbes in english and Calvin et Hobbes in french. I had a quiet moment with our neighbor Madame Dodet. Few other things worth a listen. I hope you enjoy. Welcome to the first podcast of Expats in Hiding. This being our first podcast there is plenty that we learned with editing, sound, recording levels, my grammar, and making it worthy of a listen. Plenty of mistakes, so please bare with us as we work on keeping this interesting. We started it for friends and family but we hope that others can find at least one thing entertaining in our conversation about our holiday in Paris this 2009 season.
